Declaration of accessibility
The Knill Group endeavors to make its website accessible in accordance with the Web Accessibility Act (WZG) and Directive (EU) 2016/2102.
This accessibility statement applies to the website:
www.knillgruppe.com
Status of compatibility with the requirements
We endeavor to adapt our website in accordance with the Accessibility Act as amended to implement the European Accessibility Directive (Directive 2019/882) on the accessibility requirements of products and services. In doing so, the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, level AA, was adhered to as far as possible.
Non-accessible content
The content listed below is not barrier-free for the following reasons:
1. Color contrasts
Due to the selected corporate design, some text elements and links do not meet the required minimum contrast values (e.g. for elements with a colored background or hover states).
2. Video elements without subtitles
The video embedded on the homepage does not contain an audio track and is for decorative purposes only. It is therefore not an essential source of information and is not subtitled.
3. Links in the body text
Some text links are not sufficiently distinguishable from the surrounding text due to formatting (e.g. color or style), especially for users with visual impairments.
4. Navigation and keyboard operability
Complete navigation with the keyboard is not yet fully guaranteed on some page sections. Individual interactive elements (e.g. drop-down menus or modal windows) cannot be optimally focused.
5. PDF documents
PDF files that were published before June 28, 2025 do not always meet the accessibility requirements (missing tags, structural information, etc.). For resource reasons, there are currently no plans to make the files accessible at a later date.
We are continuously working on optimizing our website and plan to gradually rectify these issues.
Preparation of this accessibility statement
This declaration was created on July 16, 2025.
The website was evaluated using manual tests and automated checks (e.g. WAVE, developer tools, Google Lighthouse).

If the complaint is justified, the FFG must make recommendations for action to the federal government or the legal entities concerned and propose measures to remedy the deficiencies.
